Hong-Kin Ng, MD
Hong-Kin Ng, MD, is a General Surgeon at Roane General Medical Associates. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He joined the Medical Staff at RGH in July of 2003 after completing a 4 year general residency program at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, WV.
When Dr. Ng is not in the operating room at RGH, he likes to run and is planning to participate in the 2010 Nut Run. When asked what his other hobbies were, he said “that’s it – I operate, I run and I spend time with my family”.
Dr. Ng and his wife Asuka enjoy taking their children, 4 year old daughter Sakura and 2 year old son Ichiro, to visit family in his home country of Malaysia. He said there is nothing like seeing the sparkle in his parent’s eyes when they play with and babysit Sakura and Ichiro – “what more can you ask for?” This year family will be visiting them here to help them with the expected arrival of their new daughter in early October.
