Radiology/Imaging Services

The radiology/imaging department at Roane General Hospital uses state-of-the-art technology to perform diagnostic tests for our patients.  A unique Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) produces high-quality, three-dimensional digital images of many radiological studies.  These images are displayed electronically on computer screens allowing for immediate review by the providers.  Images are then digitally stored in the patient’s virtual chart and can also be transferred to a CD for use in other health care settings, should the need arise.  The following Radiology/Imaging services are available at Roane General Hospital:

Computerized Tomography (CT)

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) – provided by a mobile unit one day per week

Mammography

Nuclear Medicine

Ultrasound

X-Ray

Outpatient Hours:  Monday through Friday

                            7:00 am to 8:00 pm

                            Saturday

                            8:00 am to 12:00 pm

                            Closed Sunday
