Physical Therapy

The Physical Therapy department at Roane General Hospital evaluates and treats individuals who have been affected by illness, injury or disease.  Physical Therapy is designed to help achieve optimal movement, function and safety, to relieve pain and to promote health and fitness through a variety of means.  Our physical therapist can provide specialized treatment plans by completing a musculoskeletal and/or neuromuscular evaluation.  These evaluations are used to understand parameters of pain, impairment and dysfunction.  The physical therapist can then individualize your rehabilitation and treatment program, combining information from you provider and the physical therapy evaluations.

 You must have a referral from your provider to begin a Physical Therapy program.
